Giandomenico Caruso, Assistant Professor at the Dpt. of Mechanical Engineering, School of Design, Politecnico di Milano since 2008.
His research activity focuses on the development and the validation of emerging HCI technologies, related to Virtual and Augmented Reality, to support the development of industrial products. In particular, his research activities concern two main topics: development of new systems to improve both visualization and interaction with virtual prototype and ergonomic analysis in Mixed Reality environment.
He has participated and participates in several national and European research projects and, in some of them, he has acted as coordinator of the research activities. For what concerns the SPARK project, he is the leader of the Work Package 2.
He is author and/or co-author of several scientific articles, mostly published in journals and conference proceedings with international relevance.
